Hi everyone
So first thing, yesterday I washed my truck and I had the key fob in my pocket while doing it, lights go on and of when I approached to door I thought was normal.
Second thing, Last night I had only 60 MTE so I filled up only took 24 gallons and show 560 MTE, everytime I filled up show more but same mpg average, so I don't keep going up, btw I don't mine lol
Third thing, today I used the remote start the after 2 min got into truck pushed the star and then got out, forgot my glasses, and I had the key fob in my pocket and truck didn't honk twice like used to, I don't know what I did and haven't tried again
Fourth thing, same trip going back stared truck and showed the gear in traini, never did it before and I thought that was a platinum feature, mine is a lariat ultimate btw, so I didn't mess with anything in settings or something else
I hope someone knows something about it
If you push the plus (+) on the shift lever when in park or driving it will show all the gears, as you hit minus, it will remove gears allowable, and so on. As for the no double honk when leaving the truck for your glasses, I wonder if you didn't hit the start button? If you surely did, I wonder what it was to not do that. Perhaps you hit something on the remote? Enquiring minds want to know.

thanks for the answer, I saw before the traini gear once long time ago when I went to M instead of D but just went back to D but it's good to know how it works thanks
I yes I hit the start button before I got out I key fob was in my up pocket in jacket so I don't think that it hit something in keyfob
If you get out of the vehicle with the key in your pocket and the door still open the horn won't double honk only if any of the doors close while you are outside the vehicle and the engine running.

It honk before even with the door open, I tried that before couple of times
Tell again about the lights going on and off when you approached the door.
So you just had the fob in your pocket and didn't touch anything? Didn't touch the door handle? Didn't squeeze the fob in your pocket?
