You can stay with the 160cc injectors and do the 30%/80%/100% over nozzle that can get you more powa. I think Tuggly over on the SD section has 30 over stock with a 38r
Hitting the 400hp range.
Hopefully those axles hold up with the torque. And be ready if you do a boosted launch, that's where havoc happens, nut if you drive like a normal person your diff will last for a while.
Dang, how hard is it to replace nozzles? Id assume that in itself, along with the tuning will be a bit of money.
As for a passport, I'll just tell them I'm going to Alaska! They'll be fine with that!
They 'might' let you in to go to Alaska but you won't get back in the US without a passport! Been there, done that. Went I went to Alaska the Canadians made me call my Vet and get all the paper work on my dog. I did that at the same time they searched my camper. This was going in, getting back is harder!
I've seen guys do it on youtube, but they got all the special tools, and probably ruined their fair share of injectors getting to that point.
That being said, I have a set of cores from my 94.5, mixed AO/AA's. Barrels look to be in decent shape, pretty sure a few have failed internally from age though. Still, will be a good set for cores when I get the money for a Stage2 build. Can't beat those 200$ ebay buys on a used set of running injectors!
Yeah, I think we may just send off these injectors to be built to stage 1s for my buddys truck, then he will give me the ones off his truck when we get the injectors back from Jim.
That way I can have a set that I could rebuild to Stage 2s or maybe even hybrids later on down the road without me having my truck down for a few weeks.
I just have to save up for an intercooler setup now since the stage 1s let my EGTs get a little too hot in my higher tunes!
