New Rebates

Keep in mind, rebates are based on where you live, not what dealer you go to! You don't want to travel long distances for a great deal, especially now without confirming rebate usage.
While Ford has general given very little local rebate decision making to local level, leading to national campaigns being the same, Ford has now allowed the regions a much greater hand in where rebates go. I was caught off guard when there was a Texas F150 owner loyalty for $4k, and I said there was never any such thing, but sure enough, Texas has it. Now the overall rebates balanced out pretty well (though if you didn't own an F150 in Texas you were out of luck) but the numbers sure looked different. Currently here in Pa the $1k for FMC does not exist (at least not in 17050). There is $750 owner loyalty. Our region decided to pump up the rebates on cars (you know, kick start a shrinking market segment!)

The $4k loyalty rebate is against the purchase of a 2016, not a 2017.

Let us know if that is true. I have an order processing now and trading in an F150. When I looked before that deal was only on a 2016 XL truck.

So the rebate info I got over the phone was inaccurate. It is as stated above for 2016. Apparently the salesman I talked to last night is brand new, they are so sorry, what can we do to make it right, blah, blah, blah. They are trying to sell it to me but I told them the only way is to give me the additional $4k off which I know they can't do. I'm sitting at the dealership right now.

Are these $750 customer cash offers generic offers for anything in the Ford lineup? My wife got one today in a addvertisement for an Explorer , F150 and some other ford cars but did not mention the super duty.
