A friend from back home is selling his F-3 that has lived it's whole life on the farm in Northern Minnesota near Hallock (the town I grew up in).
The fellow selling it is a friend from high school, I have no vested interest in this aside from seeing a sweet old rig go to an enthusiast and my friend getting a fair price for it.
2 days left on the selling site.
If I had the money I could have gotten it for a sweet price but all I could drum up was $1500 and it is worth well more than that for sure.
They put some seats in it but it does have the original. It runs good with the original flat head 6. What a sweet rig.
Just search for item # 230744204622 on that selling site.

I have always driven the tonners. I have even been known to add a few leaves to the spring packs, and always run tall narrow tires like 7.50 17s. Here on the west coast they seem to sit on cl forever and never have the value of a half ton. When I see someone fixing one up, they often put car front ends on them and shorten the frame etc. Seems the further east one goes, the more a big heavy pickup is worth. I see this in magazines like Vintage Truck as well. I have family in New England and there I see contractors with beautifully restored dump trucks and wreckers and all manner of heavy duty trucks decked out with pin stripes and lots of running lights etc. New Jersey also seems to be a hotbed for this type of activity as well as Upstate New York. This is just my casual observation. I sold a really nice 53 F350 flareside last spring all original with a rebuilt 8 ba and new tires etc. Listed it for 3000.00 on cl and it sat and sat. Finally a great guy came down from Canada and offered me 2600.00 for it and drove it home about 4 hours. Next one I have for sale, I'm driving it east!

When Kelly first told me he was selling this F-3 I started drooling over it. Unfortunately I just bout this house Im last summer and i just couldn't do it. I offered him the $1500 i could but i knew that was not near enough. If i could have come up with $2500 he would have sold it to me. We were surprised it went that high.
