Has anyone purchased a new bed cover for our older trucks? I like the Undercover brand but according to the website, they don't make them for a 95 F150. Can't find anything that fits it online. I also like ARE and Leer. I don't want a soft or folding cover. I will call some local vendors if you guys haven't purchased something similar. Thanks.
About 4 years ago when I bought the topper for my '97 the shop first said they were discontinued, but them offered to contact the manufacturer who was very willing to make one, they had just taken it out of their catalog. That was 4 years ago, and a topper, which I think were always more common than hard tonneaus. But like ChRoNo16 said, custom ordering is worth a try.
And yes, expect to pay more than $400 for it new (probably over $1000). They were never less than that, so anyone who thinks that's as expensive as **** must really value **** a lot.

I'm assuming they still had the forms, and just blew the dust off. It wasn't uncommon in the job shops I've worked in to get an order for one or two old parts that hadn't been made in forever, but we still had the tooling for. Shoot, Boeing is notorious for giving a shop tooling for a part order, then never ordering the part again, and leaving the tooling at the shop for 15 years. Then, out of the blue, oh hey we need one of these parts.
Yep, made to order. I optioned it how I wanted with headliner, cargo light, sliding front window, swing-out/sliding side windows.
And as I said, this was about 3 years ago. I wouldn't expect they'll keep doing that forever. But at least at that point these trucks were old enough for it to not be worth carrying toppers for them in stock or even in the catalog. But they still had the tooling.
I know you can still get a camper top from Leer. I got a quote for a basic model to fit my 94 a few weeks ago, it was like $1500 installed + extras. How much longer they will stay in the catalog, who can say... I see them every now and again second hand but they tend to be in horrible shape.
I went to the Peragon website and it "appears" they make a tonneau cover for the 95 F150. It is not a solid cover like I wanted but gets good reviews from folks on this website. I like the Leer shell but it's a little more than I want to spend but I may change my mind. I've looked on Craigslist for used but no luck.

I dont know what you were expecting to pay for a hard cover but new they are $1000+
