Hey guys, I am new to this forum. I currently am looking for a direct fit 3 speed transmission for my 8BA Flathead. Curious if any one has any tips? in the Chicago land area.
Yes, i have a 4 spd non synch from a 52 listed in the 2nd link above. I can attest that it shifts as it should and could be dropped in assuming you have the bellhousing for the 8BA. This comes with the hogshead that should bolt onto your bellhousing. I'm in Pennsylvania though so shipping would be involved. Let me know how you make out with the other poster above and if need be we'll make it work. I don't have it advertised nor am i in a big hurry. PM me should you be interested.
Thank you for the replies. bhailemail, I do have the bellhousing for the 8BA. This is my first real project and have limited experience on fabrication. With the 4 speed, would I have to make modifications to the rear engine/trans mount location?
pauler I will e-mail on the account that you gave me earlier did you get the pic's. The reason I say on your reg email is I don't think that we are to sell items on this blog just in the for sale thingy. Like I said let me know if you got the pic's I will be in Homer Glen March 17 or 18
