49 f1 help

Hi guys im Brian and i need help with my 49. I want to get more speed. not looking to hot rod it just want to go down the interstate if i want.The 49 has a 239 flathead and 4 speed. Thanks for any and all help

Welcome Brian!
The best way to get your speed up is to switch to a 9" Ford back end. There is a reference document on the forum that would be a great place to start.
