Question timing
1990-351-4x4-250
i am trying to put a timing chain in.i have a haynes,but it doesn't tell you were to line up the gears. it shows to dots for the 6, but that is gear to gear.

timing
the dots on the 2 gears or sprockets should be alighned, if they dont rotate the cam until the do.
