gear to gear timeing?

gear to gear timeing?
i was wondering if there is a such thing as gear to gear timeing for a 300 i6?
i was also wondering i have an 86' f-150 standerd cab and bed 4x4 with the 300 i6 and i have bfg's all terranes 32x11.50 and they rub the bad behind the wheel( im thinking from some minor experiance its called the pitman arm maybe???) well i have new tires 33x12.50 interco tsl thornbirds and my tires i have now rub i have seen other trucks with the bigger tires i wa just wondering how the fit them without rubbing on the arm( pittman arm???)
any help would be appreciated
