You're probably in the wrong forum. The F-3's (M-H Model R3-4 or R32-4) first year was 1948. The 1947 and earlier equal would be the tonner (M-H Model OT5-4), but I know of only two ever found. There's a M-H group of us over on the 1948-1956 forum if you want to join us there. Unless the moderator moves your thread. I don't know of any trucks for sale, but one of the other guys might have suggestions. Stu
Whats your idea of "nice"? With only a handful of survivors any F3 MH should qualify as nice. Heck, I can only think of a couple that actually run as of today. I have a Coleman F4 we can talk about. It just needs a few thousand dollars worth of wheel bearings, stuck flathead etc.
Yeah, the guys here I believe account for probably half of the known population of F-2/F-3s. But none of ours are yet fully restored. Two restored trucks have been for sale in the $35,000 neighborhood. One I know sold on eBay while the other failed to meet reserve. If you want it I have contact info for the original owner who can refer you to the guy he sold it to. Don't know if it's still available. A couple of "as found" trucks sold this year on eBay for about $4500 each. Stu
To put some perspective on those $4,500 "as found" F-3 M-H project trucks I mentioned, here's a '52 F-1 M-H project now in Hemmings with asking price of $15,000. The half tons still appear to be thought of as a lot more valuable. Asking and getting are of course different. Stu

Yeah, have seen it. And it might have been mentioned here earlier too. For a guy looking for a big truck it's pretty nice. And an added bonus, it has Daytons on the rear and the Budd-to-Dayton adapters up front. Any tubeless 22.5" outer rims will fit. Stu
