I would say yes they're necessary? If you don't lower the stop, the axle will be able to travel higher up in the wheel well and cause damage. Mine came with my Readylift SST 3.5 kit.
I talked to the guys at Ready Lift about their 1.5" level for the 2017's and they said you only need the blocks under the spring perch. They also said that the 2017 geometry had changed for the good and no bump-stop extensions or sway bar blocks were needed. They also said you don't need the camber bushings or new shocks for that height. I am looking forward to a better stance and 35's! Any higher, you may start needing more parts.

interesting... I was gonna go with a 2 inch so hopefully the .5 inches doesn't make a difference
I have the Ready lift 2.5 on mine. It came with bump stop extensions and sway bar mounts and brake line extensions. I noticed my wheel sticking out farther on the driver side as expected so I ordered the track bar relocation bracket from readylift also. The kit from them is only 249 so I would say just get the parts to do it right and keep your truck riding great. Here's a pic with the level. It still has a rake, this pic is on a sloped driveway.

I did the Ready Lift 1 1/2" level kit and I did need the Caster Camber Kits, The caster was out. ( moog K80154) I also did the Track Bar Bracket cause I couldn't stand the left tire sticking out, Also the Fox 2.0 all around The stock front shocks were extended way to far and bottomed out on speed bumps even at a crawl. The Fox 2.0's made a huge difference in the ride compared to stock. Back to normal..
i have the readylift kit and the track bar relocation bracket. I have caster adjustment shims sitting on the bench. I haven’t had the alignment checked yet, but the truck drives the same as it did before the level.
I want to get rid of the factory shocks and the shock extensions. just need to order the foxes.

I am not an alignment guy, but I am going to assume (possibly incorrectly)that your camber issues are because you went from a 31" tall tire to a 34" tall. That much difference will require a camber adjustment. I will have 34" tall tires from the factory on my Platinum and only be gaining 1/2" in height with a 35/12r20, so the factory settings should favor my situation. This would explain why some do and some don't need the new bushings.
As for the shocks, I will see what happens and raise that issue with the guys at Ready Lift if needed.
The factory Kit's only allow for a 1Deg Pos neg adjustment. Regardless of tire size. I owned a alignment, front end, spring shop, for 27 years. We installed Kit's in brand new trucks daily. The only thing that would make a difference is what front springs rate you have from the factory. Snow Plow for instance.

Its caster (not camber) that is principally effected by leveling and lift kits. Tire size makes no difference on Caster. After putting a 2.5" level on my 2016, the caster was in the negative range and the truck wandered all over the place. Added 2.3 degree caster cams and that got me to 1.9 and 2.0 degrees positive caster (left and right). It drove much better but still needed more caster. Just added Carli radius arms which add an additional 1 degree of positive caster. Thus puts me a 2.9 left and 3.0 right. Drives much better and feels better than stock, and my truck came from the factory with the 6k lb plow prep coils and 1 degree caster bushings.
