I got into an accident a while ago, and now I have to replace the entire tailgate. The door doesn't open, jammed into place, locked, wiper arm doesn't work, handle doesn't work, glass won't open. I got lucky that nothing broke critically like the window, but I need to know how to take off the tailgate as a whole as quickly as possible. I will be replacing it with another from a junkyard, and it would be nice to know how to put it back on as well. required tools and any safety precautions to take are much appreciated.
