So I'm getting feed back that the king ranch is a better choice
I don't know about better choice, it's whatever you like. There's guys who bought XL trucks and think it's the best choice ever. It's whatever makes you happy. But to me the KR is the best choice out of all them but I might be a little bias. lol

Not at all.... Get what YOU want. As said before you can load them out pretty much identically. It really just comes down to which interior YOU like better. What do you like the tan or java? You would probably hardly ever notice the difference in the leather unless you're driving in your birthday suit. Only thing you cant get in the lariat is the multicontour seats, is that important to you?
You are going to love that truck as I do! Here's mine.
Is that bronze fire? If it is that color really mess's with you in the light. I'm not a fan of that color but this pic is the best shade I've seen so far very nice
Or is it ruby red? I think it's too dark for that

It's Bronze fire, it the sun light it looks burnt orange but in the shade or at night it looks burgundy.
I like the caribou front & rear bumpers of the KR, it just blends with the rest of the 2-tone. I prefer it over chrome, mostly because I prefer things to match. You can't get a painted bumper on the lariat, even if you order 2-tone paint.

I considered the Lariat Ultimate and KR and ultimately ordered the KR for these reasons; the better interior color, massaging seats, power running boards. What turned me off on the lariat ultimate was the interior. There are too many colors going on. The center arm rest is black. The carpet is black. The door panels are tan with black inserts. It just looked to choppy to me. My current 2009 lariat is all one color and I like it. This is why I like the KR. All brown, matching carpet color and not a bunch of different colors thrown in and it won't show dirt like the tan/camel color will over time.
Picture Platinum seats but dyed brown and having orange King Ranch symbols.
They feel very different. The platinum seats have more seams and don't feel nearly as nice as the King Ranch seats to me and my wife. I have an 09 King Ranch, and was going to order a Platinum F450 before sitting in a Platinum and King Ranch back to back... My new King Ranch is scheduled for build next week.
Even if you load a Lariat up to match a King Ranch, and pay the same amount, come trade in time, the King Ranch will hold its value more and give you more money back.
