Brakes problem after tune up...
So I did a complete brake job today on the front.
New disks and pads, and new hub on the front left as well.
This is not the first time I'm doing this, but still, have unexpected problem.
The job went well. I had no problems. Opened the reservoir cap when pressing the small pistons in (and checked the fluid level after the job)...
First of all - the car is braking as expected. Slow, fast, No problems, no wrong symptoms...no pulling to the side, no wrong sounds... Also no error codes on the computer...
But
I have the RED brake lamp on the dash - still light no flashing. Have no idea why ?? It is like no fluid warning, but fluid is there...
Second problem - when I'm slowing down, so pressing brake pedal gently, the stop lamps are going on, and after few seconds off (while pedal is still gently pressed). The still light from the stop lights required to break hard, with substantial force to the pedal...
Previously (before I did the job), the stop lights were on constantly, as long as I was pressing the pedal (no matter how hard)...
Got any ideas ?
try going to a parts store and try it with their scanner (some of them have the latest that can read modules other than the engine.. trans & abs)

The code for brakes is simply not there...
edit: I took it to the ford shop to have it scanned... They checked it with their scan computer - no codes as well..
