As my never ending saga of repairs and upgrades continues, I was able to locate a set of second row of folding captains chairs locally plus a center console with it. They are tan as well which matches my interior.
I just picked all three items up locally and they look to be in good shape, just dirty and nasty from being partially outside in the Florida rain and elements.
I already recovered the front seats so have experience with hog rings and clips, but what would be the best way to clean these up? They've been sitting awhile and probably need a deep cleaning before the kids get to use them. The seat shop wants $700 for a set of covers and not ready to go that far yet.
Should I pop the skins off the seats and head rest, and throw them in the washing machine down at the laundromat?
Also, what would be the best cleaning agent on these? I expect cleaning agents like Simple Green would tear up the finish.
I have used a 50-50 water and spray nine mixture with a soft brush to get stains from leather and fabric. Alternatively, a good leather cleaner with a brush also may work well. (Providing the are leather...I'm working on my phone right now...hard to see)

Yes they are the stock leather seats, looks to be from a Limited. Not fabric. They are kinda nasty so would like some sort of anti-bacterial product.
I had read on here about scrubbing bubbles but wasn't able to recall whether it was used to clean a carpet or the seats?
The cool part is I was able to get the front center console with the two seats as part of the deal, so will try and see if I can do something with that as well. May need some modifications due to the differences in the floor pan but worth a try.
Now that I am on a desktop computer....I see they're leather.
An old upholstery guy turned me onto Spray 9 many years ago. Mixed 50-50 with water in a spray bottle...then brushed...I'd bet those seats come clean. Spray 9 is also a disinfectant.
I'd try a small area first...but it's always worked for me.
After scrubbing, wipe clean and one more over with a damp towel.
Zaino's Leather cleaner also works great if it's scrubbed a bit with a brush.
Like the above video link says....Scrubbing Bubbles. I used it on my seats when I replaced the lower cover to match the back portion. Start from there and see how they come out.
Scrubbing Bubbles. Also those seats aren't bad, typical JY mold. Don't pay those prices for seat recover either, call the guys in that video further up in the thread.
