How do you take care of your Lariat seats

From my understanding, our super duty seats have a mix of leather and some kind of plastic. The leather "maybe" coated with some sort of polymer.

What I read is that do not put oil based products on it. Some said only clean it with wet towel. Or towel with a bit of dish soap, then wipe off again with dry towel. That's for cleaning.

I then read somewhere that they use aloe vera water based conditioner. I don't know if that's only for leather or both leather and vinyl.

There is also suggestion to use Lexol cleaner and Lexol conditioner.
Other says use Meguire's Leather wipe.

I didn't know taking care of these seats would be so hard.

Zaino Brothers leather cleaner and conditioner.
I've tried every one under the sun, it can't be beat.
They make some of the best paint care products as well, albeit there are more steps involved with some of the sealers, etc.

I use this for the autos and boat. I've used it for years and has done great.

Believe it or not ive seen alot of recommendations for scrubbing bubbles cleaner as an occasional deep cleaner. Ive tried it once, works great. For what its worth theres some car seat upholstery company that even recommends it.

As in the bathroom cleaner? Interesting...I might have to try this. I don't use any kind of weather or saddle cleaners for the simple fact that it is not pure leather we are dealing with like a saddle would be.

Check out "theseatshop" on youtube. They recomend the scrubbing bubbles bathroom cleaner to get any amd all dirt off then a conditioner when youre done. I gave it a try myself earlier this week cleaning the seats in my 03 and the rag i used to wipe everything down with after scrubbing was black amd the seats look great. I was thoroughly impressed.
