Every vacuum line checked out except the metal pipe on the drivers side that connects the brake booster, and FRPT sensor, to the lower intake manifold. There is a two inch rubber hose that is so spongey it was sucking air in around it. Should be all fixed by next week.
bought a new water pump hose from the dealer $45 replaced all vacuum line assemblies (top side) new from the dealer 9C490 and 9A474 $100 as far as pumping gas? I can stop at any gas station and pump slow as hell with the nozzle in normal position, but if I turn the handle skyward it pumps fast without shutting off. P0171 P0174 was bad o2 sensors before the cats. DONE DONE and DONE
O2 sensors do not cause those codes, they report the condition that leads to the codes. It was the repair of the vacuum leak that corrected the reason for the codes.
It took 10 years for the original water pump hose to rust out so I spent the $45 and got a new one from the dealer. Still have the vacuum leak, must be under the dash because I've checked and replaced every hose under the hood. For $100 the dealer had both left and right assemblies so plastic and rubber vacuum lines are brand new clear to the hubs. Leak has to be under the dash, blower works fine till I hit 30 then it switches to defrost.
