I need a better steering arm stabilizer for my new truck. The new Bilstein 5100 shocks up front helped some but I think I need a better stabilizer.
On previous trucks I have had a Rancho and one from BDS, neither seemed any stiffer than the OEM. I have also read a few reviews that the Bilstein wasn't any better either.
What else is out there? I don't think a dual arm will work because my truck isn't lifted

The Carli high mount stabilizer is very nice. Put one on my 2016. Not sure if they have one for the 2017 yet.
I contacted Fox and they recommended the Fox Performance Series ATS replacement steering stabilizer because it is adjustable. It actually has a through shaft so it resists movement in both directions. It has 24 different settings so I can adjust it so it is the best for my arms. I read some reviews on the jeep forums and they all seem to like it and say that it really tightens up the steering which is what I need. When I get it installed I will let you know if I wasted my money or not.
I have adjustable Fox shocks on my Polaris side by sides and they work great so hopefully this will too.
The Fox will not fit. It is 1" too long and the clamp will not fit around the tie rod. It appears that the tie rod for the '17 is larger diameter than the previous models.

I just installed the Fox ATS steering stabilizer today, works great!
Sorry, I'm new on here. I just filled out my signature.
with my stabilizer compressed all of the way it was about one inch too long to fit. Also the clamp was too small to clamp around the tie rod. Can you take pictures for me? You have a F-250 or F-350?

Yes sir I can.
2017 f250 4x4 diesel.
Mine replaced the factory shock. The eyelet end mounted to the frame reusing the factory bolt on the passenger side, and the "clamp on" end mounted to the drag link.

Thanks.
it appears then that the drag link or tie rod on the F-350 is a larger diameter than that on the F250 as my clamp would not even go around it

I just called the shop I bought the shock from and asked if the drag link was different on the f250 vs f350, and they said no they both have the same for part number.
