Looks like they sprayed the line-x over your bolts in the bed(except the pucks of course). Did your installer give you the choice? The installer who will do mine said they remove the bolts but put them back in and then spray the top coat uv protectant over the bolts so they are black but don't like to have the line-x on the bolts. I am getting the premium line-x. tks

He did give me the option. I went back and forth but decided to have him spray over them. I talked to a few installers about the premium and the consensus was with a tonneau cover on most of the time I do not need the added UV protection.

I spray over the bolts to prevent the rust. Before the line X I rust proof the bolts under when I install the puck hitch.Looks that the bed is stronger now after the line x platinum was spray.

I had them spray over the bed bolts this time because this is what the bolts looked like after a couple of years in my 2011.

This is what I have this time around:

I finally came to the conclusion that the chance of me wanting to remove the bed bolts in the future is pretty small. And that would probably only be due to an accident in which case, they would replace it anyway.

But if the dealership needs to remove it for repairs they will charge you more to remove the bolts.

This was the same reasoning that I had for covering mine.
