I see that Rigid Industries has a LED driving light retrofit kit, which gives you the capability to mount two pairs of D-Series lights in them. Anybody have these that would care to share their experience?
I have a pair of their diffused lights that I mounted near my hitch. I have enjoyed the extra lights when backing up a night or working behind my truck. I hooked it to upfitter 6.
I had set in my Raptor fog light openings wired to the upfitter switches. I was using the DOT/SAE Rigid LED though. They are more expensive than the standard Dually, but they have a great cut off at the top and you aren't blinding drivers coming at you. I never once got flashed when I changed from the Rigid Spots to the Rigid SAE D series.
I wonder if the F150 kit you linked to would fit the Super Duty? I have all my Rigids sitting in a box begging to be reinstalled.

Secondly, does anyone know the color temperature of the factory LED headlights?
Thanks,
I'm confused as if that mount kit would even work with the '17 super duty. The fog light area looks different on the super duty and the F150. I asked Rigid if the same mount worked on both vehicles and was told it would not and that they would release their 2017 line in February time frame. When I asked Stage3 the same question they said it would fit.
If anyone's order that kit, please let us know if it works!
If they are true driving lights just don't wire them to the fog light power. Too easy to leave them on while on low beam like some azz s do. The power of these new lights makes me want to mount a shotgun in the grill just so I can see too.
I've been looking at the new Rigid Dually Side Shooter as back up lights on the rear. Hook them up to the Upfitter when needed extra to back up or to do some work out back. The web site is not up to date but the model is "D-SS" then you can get Spot, Flood, Driving. Check them out.
