Adding Cruise Control?
The latest addition to the driveway (2012 F250 XL 6.2) is getting ready to be geared up for it's tour of duty. The one thing that was on the would-be-nice but not must-have list was cruise control. This truck doesn't have it, which wasn't a deal breaker because the truck was way inside my budget.
So anyways, while researching hitches, tonneau covers, steps, etc. I came across this;

A Ford speed control kit for my truck for $165! Is this all I need to install the speed control? I would assume the dealer would have to get into the logic and enable something, but is this switch really all the hardware I need to buy? Anyone done this?

You should bee able to use FORScan to activate it. Check the 6.7 board for the FORScan thread. his would save a few bucks and a trip to sealer.

I know this is an old thread but I’m trying to get cruises added to my 2016 f250 (6.7, 4x4, crew cab, short bed) I put the switch in and went into forscan and changed the setting in sccm and it says cruise control is enabled but it’s not. Is there other settings I need to change?

Here is the Ford instructions on installing the the switch and the programming needed. I believe you should be able to use FORSan to program it
