Can anyone tell me how pieces 8104 and 8105 attach? Mine have been flopping around for years, and now I have the radiator out and would like to put them in properly.

I am thinking that first pic is correct with that tail sandwiched between the inner fender and the radiator support? Is that correct?

What are those things? When I pulled my truck out of the junk pile I didn't come across anything like that.

Part of the air dam forceing air through the radiator OP title is a little off target but these are at the inner fender - horse shoe connection
A better pic of radiator support

I would take a picture if I could figure out how to do it, but schoo has described it well

Ed, Here is how they fit on my '49. You can see that the tab goes between the inner fender and radiator frame.

Thanks for the explanation guys, rad to inner fender gap filler. The pictorials are excellent.

I lucked out, I won't need them. Seems like the factory didn't trust their radiator selection all that much. All these little necessary odds and ends of scrap sheet metal trying to force as much air through the rad as possible.
