1953 F100 questions

There is a F100 close I have my eye on. It has the straight 6. Besides the normal stuff like radiator and wiring would I be able to swap in an 8ba?

i know I could on a 50 and it look stock but how about a 53?

My '53 has an 8ba. The motor mounts and bell housing are different then the '50.

The front cross member is diferent and you need a special "C" bracket from the 8BA to the cross member. I'm looking for a 1953 myself for the same purpose.

I am building an 8ba and need a truck for it to go in! Looking for preferably a patina red 51 or 53 F1. This 53 fits that but if the crossmember is different then it's a deal killer. Search goes on. Nice engine by the way.

The v8 has 2 front cross members. It has the same as the 6 has plus another behind that to support the engine.

This is on an xtra frame I have.
