2016 F150 factory bed lights
Hey guys, i was just curious to see if anyone has installed the ford factory bed lighting system in a truck that didnt come with them. My dad and I bought pretty much identical trucks and his has a few more creature comforts that mine didnt come with. Im also interested in possibly installing a inverter and 110 factory outlet if possible. Just wanted to know what you guys think.

The question that I would have is whether the wiring harness is there or not. In the old days, I would think that all models/accessory versions would just get one harness that worked across the line. Missing accessories would just be MIA.
However, newer production/logistics systems would make it economical to do accessory-specific wiring harnesses.
So I'm going to hazard a guess that you will have to add wires to make this work.
Pop those covers off, and see what it is.

I guess that is something that can be enabled via forscan?
