Ordered one of the black ones for my oxford white XLT at my dealer today. They said it would take a week to get it.

I ordered a smoked OEM deflector and it should be in sometime this week. Does anybody know if the stick on letters for the hood will fit the deflector?

The only thing keeping me from putting a bug deflector on is how close it is to the hood and how difficult it would be to keep the hood clean.

I bought an OEM smoked lexan guard from Fairmont Ford via EBay. It arrived looking beat up, scuffed etc. I called the dealership and they told me Ford has a recall on the shield due to the hardware is prone to rusting and the scuffing issue. Additionally, the clips on either end did not line up on any pre-existing holes in the hood (not even close) and I wasn't about to start drilling on a truck with 100 miles on it.

I installed the tuffskinz letters and I'll leave it at that.
