Summer GTG

who would be interested in a GTG in August the weekend of 11-13? Camping, boating, playing GTG. Some of us have boats, some have 4 wheelers, we all like to play and drink beer.

Looking at campground in the Torch lake area or in Higgins Lake area.

Here is a poll to see where the majority would like to come and camp. Once I get a number of who wants to come and where we want to go I will look for a campground that we can get a ground into. so we can be in the same area, or close anyway. Open to other suggestions also.

**if you click on "other" please post up where you think we might have a good time. **

My vote is for Torch Lake as I have never been there on a boat. But it doesn't matter to me, other than we get together.

I would expect nothing less of Torr (and Mrs. Torr) and Caitlin and the little Bendall to be there.....

There is always Lake Leelenau also. Really nice campground there with docks, and could always put in lake Michigan and run to the islands.

This campground is pricey though, would be at least $65 per night with a minimum stay.

Three night minimum?
I got to watch my vacation days this summer. Thinking about a trip to Maine with the RV, not sure I'll be able to spare any and still deer hunt.

Chainof lakes looks nice. But will have to check on if we decide to go with our big dogs, if they are allowed.
Thanks Chad for letting us know of this.

Looks like dogs are ok.

•PETS MUST BE KEPT ON A LEASH. MUST CLEAN UPAFTER THEM. DO NOT LEAVE THEM ALONE AND DON’T LET THEM BARK. NO MORE THAN TWO DOGS PER SITE without prior consent.

Technically we aren't coming for that, but things may get a little fuzzy.

We have been to some campgrounds who say that BUT they didn't mention a size limit. We always call ahead to verify rather than have a problem at check in. Saves on our nerves and hassle.

Agreed, once we get set on where we want to go I can give them a call with an idea of how many sites. We have out 80# dummy to bring too. He will be the barker of the group I'm sure. LOL

Our 80# ball of fur looks like a 110#, never had a problem though.
