Jen suggested traverse city state park as well. Not much difference in drive time to a launch.

Correct. Also this park restricts dogberts to a certain section of the campground (or used to, been six years or so since we camped there).

Was kind of hoping to be closer to water/ boat ramp. Would be much easier to be able to not have to bring the boat in and out of the water. The high maintenance dog that is mine is quite a pain at times.
