Im lost NEED HELP

(1994 f250 7.3 idi na)So a few weeks ago i did a fuel filter replacement, along with the standard ATF treatment and let it sit for 48hr. The night after i started her up and ran her like hell when i came to a stop and put her in neutral and let her idle she will start to what seems as a misfire and can only be fixed by giving a good 1500rpm rev and than she will idle correctly. But when i am accelerating there is no loss of power and no random white smoke no signs of timing or blown head gasket. Now 2 weeks later still having same problem alot less frequent now, now when i start her up(even after being on a block heater all night) she will start and than randomly die unless i start feeding her fuel for a couple pumps and than she will be fine. So please someone help im lost on what it could be!

Did you maybe bump the timing advance switch and it's not getting a good connection?

Pic from web, actually another user on these forums...not mine.

sounds like air intrusion. when cold remove the fuel filter and see if it is full or half empty.
