I like everything about the look of my '16 Ruby Red Lariat, except the 4X4 decals on the rear quarter. Has anyone removed them with a hair dryer, or a low output heat gun?
John
My truck is silver and was built over a year ago. I'm hesitant to remove the 4x4 decals due to fading. Has anyone experienced a difference in the surrounding paint after removing them? How about removing the warning stickers on the sun visors?

I don't thing you'll have any fading .. My 16' is Dk Gray (magnetic ??) anyway, I took off the bed decals and you couldn't tell it was ever there. They peeled off during one of our Florida hot days, no residue.
After you peel off the decals, you can use rubbing alcohol to clean the adhesive residue left over. If it is too tough for the alcohol, then Goof Off works great.
I removed the 4x4 decals as soon as I got home. Heat gun and take your time its an easy process. I didnt try and remove anything from the sun visors though.
Be careful with goof off it could remove the clear coat and or paint under it. If there is residue use a microfiber cloth and wd40. The wash and apply some wax
