Sticker Removal
A FEW WEEKS AGO THERE WAS A POST ABOUT REMOVING STICKERS LIKE THE 4X4 STICKER. I CANT FIND IT IN THE POSTS SO MAYBE SOMEONE HAS AN IDEA ON HOW TO DO IT.MY BUDDY HAS A DODGE
HIS LOSS.ANYWAY HE WANTS TO REMOVE ALL THE EMBLEM STICKERS
AND PUT ON CUSTOM STEELER STICKERS,HES A VERY BIG FAN. AND HE ASKED MY HELP. I TOLD HIM TO BUY A FORD TRUCK AND HE COULD JUST LEAVE THEM ON! BUT THAT DIDNT WORK,HIS TRUCK IS PAID OFF. i WAS THINKING ABOUT A HEAT GUN BUT UNSURE IF IT WILL LIFT THE CLEARCOAT,I GUESS IF I GO GENTLY IT MIGHT WORK. I DONT KNOW IF THERE IS ANY CHEMICALS OUT THERE THAT WILL PENATRATE THROUGH THE STICKER. WHAT DO YOU GUYS(OR GALS) THINK. THANKS FOR ANY INFO.

Use a heat gun (lower setting) or a hair dryer. Just exercise caution with the heat gun so you don't get the clearcoat too hot!! It should have settings on it so keep it on the low end. I check the heat from mine to determine if I think I might have it too warm or not and proceed from there.

oh sorry about all the caps i used, i didnt think they would offend anyone, just thought it would be easier to read for some. my bad!
