Wheel/ tire help
What is the wheel width and offset of these factory wheels? I want to eventually run something close to 35x10.5 or 35x12.5 on my truck. Sorry I'm not good with metric tire size. These are 16s but if I got new ones would likely go up to 17" or 18".
My truck sits fairly level, maybe slightly taller in the rear. I don't want a lot of lift on this truck, I'm past that stage of life lol. I'm thinking maybe the biggest leveling kit available on the front (2.5"?) and some 350 rear blocks would get the truck up high enough that I won't have to worry about extreme negative offset to keep the tires from rubbing.
So, what's the widest tire that someone like Tire Discounter would mount on that stock wheel? Anyone ever do a mild lift like what I'm talking about?
Thabks. Sorry if this has been asked a million times before. I'm on my phone at work and it doesn't like this site for some reason haha
Also, what's the general consensus on wheel spacers? My truck stays on pavement almost all of the time. No hard off roading or heavy towing. Thinking of maybe going with a little narrower tire on the stock wheels and using a spacer to get them out of the wheel wells a little. When the Ohio salt finally does my fender wells in, I'll probably add fender flares and don't want them to look out of place with tires that sit inside the fenders
Spacers, well most don't like them. You would need to go with 2" so that you don't have to cut too much stud off, they are usually really close to 2" long. I used them in the past on the leaf spring SDs to get large tires away from hitting the springs. I never had problems with them nor did all the others I know that used them. I'm not advocating for these, I don't know anything about them, but you would be looking for something like it:

I have Ultra Type 164 wheels (16x8") and the offset is -6mm. IIRC that is within 2mm of the OEM spec on that wheel (my 2003 Lariat came with those on it). I don't remember the backspacing info.
