Thanks to all for the information on this. Just got mine 450 10 days ago. Didn't know TPMS was not going to be on it when ordered. Was back at dealer today. The salesman didn't know it either.
Tried TPMS programming, no display screen for the actual sensor programming but I did not try the reset procedure to program sensors. The one positive sign we are on the right track is that when we change the programming, I get DTC's for TPMS errors so we are on the right track.
im sure its the same thing. i need this because im always hauling 30k. but the thing whit the f450 im not sure if the module is there or not , if you wont to send me all your sensor to canada lol
Been doing some more reading on this. Tpms uses something called a smart junction box for receiving the signals from the sensors. The SJB appears to be standard across all
of the super duty’s. I really want this up
and running too and will be doing some experimenting and research.
Agreed. I can add or drop pressure at will now.
I have never has a problem with a low tire that I was not aware of.
I also have never had a low tire that I didn't notice. I'm not sure if one of my duals on my F450 was low, I would necessarily know it. I'd like to have the TPMS working if it was possible for sure.
I noticed on the forscan lite under the transceiver module there are six receivers. I would think that would be for the wheels. The other thing is you can get it into learn mode where the horn honks and it is waiting for a signal but then it times out and double honks. (From owners manual) I also have the dtc’s for enabling it. I think we have the module it’s just getting the right things turned on.

2009KR - were you ever able to get the TPMS to work on your 2017 F450? I'm picking-up a 450 today and would like to find a way to get this working. Thanks.

I hadn't spent any more time on it. I would like a TPMS, but with the thick 19.5's, I'm not too worried about getting a flat.
BTW, you might want to run 75-80/70 f/r pressures instead of the maxed-out GAWR 90/80 on the door sticker. Many have had wandering with pressures too high.
