I think Ford is trying to consolidate the different maintenance plans under one heading, Ford Protect.
Flood and Zeigler are the two cheapest online Ford dealers offering the Ford ESP that I have seen. I bought from Zeigler since I wanted to finance the purchase over 12 months at 0% interest. The cost was about $200 more. It might have been cheaper in the end to not finance if I would have had the money to pay upfront.
You posted before I got back. I did finally find the Ford "Protect" on Ford's webpage. The interesting part is when I did the online request the policy total cost came back $5965.00.
When I told to the rep. he quoted me the $5680.00 earlier and that was without the rental car option. This price is with 10% down, 0% interest for 24 months.
I have a call into Flood Ford but haven't heard back from them yet.
I will take a look at Ziegler. Thanks again for posting up.
Ford ESPs does not cover some expensive repairs. Like getting fuel in water and it taking out your fuel system.
I use geico coverage insurance for my repairs. I find it cheaper and covers more items.

If one carries full coverage auto insurance, the comprehensive section of the policy should cover water damage to the fuel system and/or assist in recovering damages from a station that sold fuel with water in it.
Also, with any auto warranty, the stupid and dump acts we manage to accomplish are never covered.
I am talking about mechanical break down insurance not Comprehensive insurance. Mechanical bread down cover the whole vehicle. Also not everyone Comprehensive is paying for water in fuel.
