Another Glow Plug Relay question

This is what I'm thinking too. I have cig lighter volt meter and it drops into the 10's with initial key on and increases to 11's after what I think is the glow plugs warmed up. Then up to 12 when they shut off altogether.

Sounds like more then I get on the big relay
And please never use ether just jump the relay with a screw driver.

Also, you should prob touch your two fingers together for 30 sec and see what the resistance of your cables of your ohms meter is. That should always be subtracted from the resistance you are seeing total. It's not uncommon to see a .2-.5 ohms of resistance just through your tester. So with that being said, it may not be that big of a drop. However, if it is 1 ohm, I do think that is a little high for a new relay.
