Was wondering if anyone has made a reproduction of this part? Mine tray is completely gone along with a small portion of the fender underneath. Would like to solve the issue so that i no longer have just a piece of wire holding the battery in place...not appealing to the eye or safe. Was the previous owners doing

Battery bracket, do you want the battery tray or the battery hold down bracket?
The battery tray is obsolete, not reproduced AFAIK. The hold down bracket is reproduced, but it's a different style than the original.
The original bracket (1965/69) was steel w/a rubberized coating. In 1970, Ford replaced it with the plastic type used on Maverick/Comet.
The two threaded J hooks and its nuts/washers can be bought at auto parts stores that may also have this bracket.

I have a 1966 2WD (^^applications above per ND) battery tray I would sell you. I started to bead blast it and it is solid. Some pitting, but also still see some of the black paint left on it. Has a good shine in some areas even.
I refinished one just like it and it came out great, although maybe a little shiny? This one is for my truck but it looked the same as the one above.
Send me a PM if you are interested. I don't have the hold down bracket.

Thanks guys. Red66rider I sent you back a PM with some shipping prices. I might not have mentioned but that choice for USPS Retail Ground was saying delivery by Saturday January 21 if I shipped it tomorrow.

No Ford dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any.
Is there a tray that would work with the original brackets by welding into place?

The '66 - '77 Bronco tray is reproduced and it is dimensionally identical. It has a couple extra holes in the bottom but since the battery is going to cover it you wouldn't even need to modify it for appearance unless you're totally OCD. It even has the 3 alignment holes so it can easily be lined up with the side brackets. I got mine from Maryland Mustang.

I tried to upload a picture of the battery tray kit but received an error message of wrong file format (although it's a .jpg file). It came with the top rubber coated handle clamp, a pair of j bolts and nuts and some mounting bolts and u-clips that will work on the side brackets, all for $40. You can get just the tray from Tom's Bronco parts for $25.
