The lower washer is threaded and fits inside the rubber. It can be a real problem if the threads are rusted together. If so you will need to fold the washer down on 2 sides to get a grip on it.

Hmmm. I'm pretty sure mine have nuts. But then again I've never really paid attention.

Ok great, thanks for all the input. I wondered if it was something funky like that. Next question would be, then do they look tight enough? I'm thinking they do not, and wonder if I can hear them shift when going around the corners. I don't hear it everytime, but this truck is solid and when I do hear something I want to find it and fix it. Thanks
Look under your seat. The bolts are accessible. Make sure the holes in the body are not enlarged and check that the body around the mount is in good shape. When I was taking mine apart I found the floor cracked around one of the mounts. Nothing a welder wouldn't cure.
Interesting considering I have never found nuts on those on the four trucks I have pulled the cab off of. The front cab mounts yes, but not the rears.
Also, the bolts are under the tank. It'll have to come out before the bolts can be removed.
I have never found read cab mount nuts ether. No need for it as the bottom washer is an insert into the top washer and is threaded. Adding a second nut will only cause aggravation trying to remove it.

I've got to drop the Aux tank for basically the same reason. The front, drivers side bed bolt ripped a hole into the bed. I guess when the PO backed into something with the tailgate down, it strained it a little.-LOL
