Ordering trucks

So I was playing around with the ordering build and price station through x plan and a lariat ultimate came out to 63,000 after taxes and all.

This is is the price I pay to the dealership or will they try and make it higher once it gets there. I am asking because if I can get a good deal through building and everything....to get exactly what I want this looks like the way to go!

I'm not sure how the Build and Price site could quote taxes. Those are different for every state and most localities. The bottom line is if you're getting XPlan pricing, you're getting a good deal. There will be some folks who say some dealers will beat that price so it can't hurt to ask but the X Plan protects you from hidden fees and charges. All those are very minimal.

The dealer cannot increase the X Plan sales price and they are limited to the fees they can charge on an X Plan sale.

If you want to get the truck with the options you want and don't want to pay for options you wouldn't normally order. I looked and couldn't find a truck with all the options I wanted so I ordered it. The only downside is the long wait.

I would have just bought off the lot, but couldn't find a King Ranch in the color i wanted with the options i wanted so i had to order. Definitely do some research on the options you want and see if you can find one on a lot first. Don't think a dealer will give you a better deal because you ordered.

First ensure dealer will honor your x-plan ---the x-plan price is .996 X invoice---dealer will add an approx $240 admin fee to the x-plan price to cover their paperwork (sic)--any incentives (rebates) offered by Ford and others will reduce your x-plan price accordingly (be sure to explore all the offers out there) add in plate transfer cost (if trading), state tax, and titling/registration costs and you should be right on the out-the-door price---Ford will honor, in your favor, any incentives from date of order to date of delivery--if ordering, make sure you get the DORA (dealer's copy of completed order acknowledgment from Ford) and then follow up with dealer for VIN-- you can use the VIN to get window sticker here: Use your VIN number to get Ford Window Sticker
you also can query ford in the chat window on the "build it" portion of the Ford Super Duty website to get further info (see this forum for further info on accessing 'chat')--go here to enter VIN to get build info: [url]http://www.etis.ford.com/vehicleRegSelector.do--only downside is after the vehicle leaves Lexington KY, Ford can't tell you where it is other than it is 'in transit'--the ETA that Ford gives you is a swag-see that here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...K_s/edit#gid=0
