Here are some Console Vault photos for those who may be interested. I was pleasantly surprised to find I did retain most of the actual console space. I cannot use the included factory console tray and there are limitations of what can fit through the Vault door, other than that, I'm very happy with this option. Mine came as the combo lock version btw.
I was going to get it, but the thought of having to enter the combi every time... You could leave it dialed in for a while and only roll the dials when you are leaving the truck alone.
Then I went to their web page and I can buy it for a little less and install it later, so I'm going to wait and see.
thanks for posting that. I ordered that with mine but have yet to see one. Looks like you ordered it for the same reason I did (clip) so your satisfied, right
Thanks for the photos, a little cheaper looking than i would have hoped for the price of the truck. Does it at least feel pretty solid? I ordered it on mine also, have yet to play with one in person.

So far... Very satisfied. You can close the bolt on the Vault door without locking the combo, so you still feel like you have decent access to what you need. When you have to leave the vehicle without your sidearm, you can quickly shuffle the combo lock and feel secure. I haven't heard any rattling or anything like that, so seems like a solid fit.

It feels pretty solid so far. I too was expecting more of a wholly integrated locking console (was thinking full metal slide in Gun Vault). This seems to be more of an integrated Vault top to the existing console. Downside- maybe not as secure; Upside- more room than I was expecting in the console, can carry a lot of stuff in there.
Lol- yeah that is actually my 238 which is really just my summer cargo shorts carry. Not sure how I left it in the old truck, but it was one of the several items that I was transferring over. This time of year when I have more bulky clothing I carry one of my Springfield XDs.
Very cool video, thanks. Generally mine stays attached to me, but I figure if I ever travel out of country, like to California, it allows for legal transport.

Not in Jersey. Will get you a free ride to lock up.
