Dashboard 1969

Hello folks
Do I have to remove the windshield to replace the dashboard on my 1969 f100 (shortbed/stepside)?

Yup as, I understand you want to remove the whole metal dash as it's all welded into place.

The cover pad has nuts on the underside you have to remove the glove box & gauge cluster to get to all the little nuts.

So the cover pad does not require removal of the windshield?
If I read your kind response correctly the cover pad and the metal dash are two separate components. And, the cover pad is screwed/bolted to the metal dash. Since I'm not interested to remove the metal dash I may be in luck as far as removal of the windshield is concerned.

I'm only interested to remove the cover pad as it is cracked.
