Tow Mirrors - Need a temporary Fix

I have the 2011 model tow mirrors with the power fold, telescope, adjust and heat. Unfortunately, the pigtail from 1A-Auto doesn't work with this mirror and so, I'm sorta stuck for now to use these as completely manual setup.

SITREP: The mirrors themselves are an awesome addition to the EX, but i have a problem. Every time I shut the doors - driver/passenger, they tend to start folding in. I have to then manually push them out before I start driving. The added problem at high speeds / when driving into high winds is that they will start folding in. I have to either then stop and fix them or ask my passenger to fix that side while I slow down etc. I am sure that once I get the wiring harness ready to get the functions for power fold/telescope/heat, this may not be a problem as the folding motors will then hold the mirrors in place. I hope to get this done in the next month or so, unless this becomes a menace and I drop some other priorities in life to get this done

Is there a bolt or some sort of stop inside the mirror that can be adjusted to keep these mirrors from folding in themselves?

Mark
That did not work The mirror surface has a very slight taper. So, the zip ties keep sliding.

Instead, I took a piece of rubber from an old bicycle tube and wedged it into the mirror. Will test it tomorrow and report how it goes.
