drivers low beam headlight out
colour coding of wires should be right on I would think but again will keep it in the back of my mind...like I said I didn't want to be randomly poking all kinds of holes with my test light...now I can start @ the headlight checking the wiring colour code then work back towards firewall...."THKS again!! Mac"
is not a big deal to drive the truck!
The last week it has been cold in Ontario & the end of the week ended with lots of rain (still slightly around the freezing mark)
Well Fri. evening I drove the truck for about an hour in consistent rain turning into light wet snow freezing conditions!!
Upon starting to head home I realized my low beam (left side) was now working & continued to work for the 45 min drive home..
But on Sat. I noticed my DRL light drivers side was now not working along with the low beam....FRIG!!!!!
I changed the bulb as this was a quick fix/check etc. (nothing both left lights..DRL's & low beam) still not working...but still
low beam works when I pull on fog lights!!
My thoughts are leaning more now to Bad connections / Grounds someplace...will eventually post end results when fixed...
I might also add this truck has a history of the brake light consistently coming on (no codes) & also 1 time when I shut it off
it powered down & dash said system shut down to conserve power I believe (something like that)...
I refuelled & started it up with no problems on drive home & for weeks after!!
Bad grounds will do stupid things as everyone knows....My other thought was the multi function switch in the steering column
however the two low beam fuses still have power....Frustrating!!!!!
