Just got this 1989 f350 dsl and one of the issues that I have is with the headlights.
The lamps are ok as I was able to check them, the high beams work the running lights work as do the tail lights. The only thing that doesn't work are the low beams.
Where do I start to look for issues?
It could just be that they are both burned out. I have seen that before. Thats inexpensive and an easy fix. I would go ahead and just buy 2 new bulbs.
Also, you could just check the pinouts on one of the head light connectors with a multimeter or a test light and see if there is power to one of them when the low beams is on. If there is then the bulbs are out, if not then there is another problem.
