Anyone Else Getting this Delay Feedback?

Hey Guys,

My order went in 11/14. Build week was 12/11. Around 12/18 was build completion.

At that point the truck was labeled as "released" by the internal ford inventory management system to the train yard.

To date, the "released" state has not changed to "in transit." I'm being told that it was released to "Jack Cooper Shipping" via Union Pacific. The dealer has never seen a released truck not have shipping/tracking updates at this point and the dealer is thinking they may just have a "surprise" delivery to the lot.

Final statement from the dealer: "So it looks like it's just going to show up [at the dealer]. Where as Union Pacific scans tracking along the way, like UPS, Jack Cooper does not."

Anyone else hearing this?

My order was submitted the same day as your order, I've been "in production" since the 15th of December & have a 1/6 ETA. Dealer has the MSO, so I assume the truck has been built. I guess I'll find out in a few days the true status of my truck.

Same here.. my truck was built on 12/18.

We are all likely help up by the Fuel Pump issue at the KTP Plant.

I don't think a Field Service Action will show on a truck that has not been 'released to the field' in shipment.

I got this update from my salesman this morning.

"Gpf2ez,
Both your original order and the new order are at the railyard in Poe, Va outside of Richmond.

Both could arrive at the same time 1/6 to 1/12"

It's great to see the truck moving but having to wait 3-9 days for a truck that is now 2 hours away is painful. Hopefully that is just an over estamate and I'll see it here in the next day or two.

Today's reply:

"The truck was scanned in KY this morning J It’s moving… I hope that means it will be here in about 7 days. I’ll check it again tomorrow morning and see if the ETA is updated… I’m just glad it got a scan."

I'm hoping it was just backup from Holidays

I'm being told no issues with recalls are holding it up.

I'll send everyone an update when it delivers

Anyone else having trouble?

So my first order (wrong color) showed up today. My second order (correct one) could show up anytime between tomorrow and the 12th.

Was scanned yesterday, and now the truck that was supposed to show up before years end is showing up as an ETA 1/25.

Now that I've had a cool off period and have seen potential issues, I'm thinking about ditching it and waiting for 2018. Dealer never took a deposit from me. . . .

What do you guys think?

Edit: I put the order in 11/20ish ( don't Remember exact date now)

Might be worth it. The orders are taking less time.

On another note, my truck has been sitting at the rail yard 2 hours away for 3 days. Dealer shows no update beyond that and chat still says eta of 1/12.
