I've got hand operated shovels, rakes and brooms to do my yard work with, there is a $5 weed wacker and back alley score electric lawnmower for those days when I don't feel like using scissors to cut the grass. Lol
It was a cool day here so it was pretty enjoyable to spend time outside.
That reminds me that I have to clean my gutters Steve, there are too many trees are quite close to my house.
That picture looks like real work to me Perry! Nice looking neighbourhood.
That's my old neighborhood, the grey house is the one that I was going to move into last year until it turned into a schit show. We finally got rid of the contractor and his junkie friends 2 months ago and now there's 2 Vietnamese families in there. The house I'm working on is James' and I'm house sitting it also until they get back from vacation.
Tomorrow is yard sale day around here and I'll start straightening out a small strip of weeds between the concrete pad out back and the fence to make it ready for some sidewalk stones. There's no reason for the strip of weeds nor for the 24 sidewalk stone pad in the front yard, 2 dumb ideas that shouldn't have been thought of.
Happy Sunday Mornin'all. The paving stone's look good Perry. Had baseball practice yesterday from 9:30 till noon, then went to a family reunion just west of the city. The A/C didn't work in the hall. We didn't stay for supper, and went to a place called Nick's Inn just on Hwy 1 west in Headingly. When I was younger and lived at home, we used to go there. The food was always good. I haven't been there for at least 33yrs, and the food was fantastic. The original owner's wife still runs the place. Cooler day today, thank god. We have our 1st baseball playoff game today at 2pm. Have a great day guy's.
Back in my carnie days, if it was daytime when I was going west I would stop in at a place just outside of Headingly, seem to remember an access road with a implement dealership and a gas stop followed by food, this would have been in the early to mid 80s. It was a case of stopping there or stopping in St. Norbert as it was a pita going into Wpg and getting back onto the perimeter.
Good luck with the tournament, it's a lot more enjoyable than digging out this weed patch of mine, Damn cats prefer doing sales over working the pitchfork.

Nick's was the only place on the south side of #1. They always had a big parking lot.
Hello everyone, I had a pretty busy Sunday. We got the engine and transmission pulled on the 56 M100 that I`m selling, the new owner is going with a 408 SBF stroker so I might as well keep them.We got the box, running boards, doors on and I hunted down the parts that go with the truck today.
Got my bigger boat out of storage in the barn and cleaned up, hopping it sells soon. I still have a smaller boat if I want to go out on the water.
How did your yard sale go Perry?
How`s your weather Steve? Our`s was awesome, it`ll heat up again on Tuesday.
Hope the baseball playoff game went well today Grant. too bad the AC died in the hall, I can`t take a crowed hall without AC.
Yard sale was slow but I was expecting that, gives me pocket money and gives me breaks while doing the yard work. Today is a hot one and so is tomorrow but I'm at an easy stage of the job today and it's a shady area to work in.
