2017 Gum Flapping Thead....
Took the boat to Devils Lake and just home a little bit ago.
Boat ran pretty good for the first half hour or so then had some hiccups and died twice. After that ran flawlessly for about 3 hours. Ran it at various throttle settings. Thinking maybe some contamination from old fuel. Tank was about half full (25 gallons) when we bought it and I'm guessing it had been about 1 to 1 1/2 years since PO had run it. I had put 25 gallons of fresh fuel with a revitalizer, enzyme alcohol treatment in addition to a double dose of Marine Sta-bil.
We did spend some time cruising the water front homes of the rich and famous.

Got the electric anchor winch and anchor nest and all electrical hooked up for that. I temporarily mounted the bow duel direction nav light on top of the anchor winch so we are legal. I just got the bow individual "cats eye" nav lights to mount so the Port and Starboard nav's can be seen on either side of the anchor nest, which displaced the dual directional right on the point of the bow.
Still have the kicker motor transom mount to get moved over from the old boat and the control head for the 2nd Sonar / Nav System. But, finally, it looks like the "plan" is coming together.

Looks Great Jim......
Thanks for the photos........
Took a look at a $300,000.00 (on Sale) Motor Coach. Didn't really care for it. Warden didn't really like it either. Maybe I was expecting more for a "mansion" on wheels at that price. Or, the Washer and Dryer in the closet in the bedroom was a turn off, OR there just wasn't anything to get excited about as it was about $299,999.00 more than I want to spend or could afford on one.
Afterwards I took the Warden to Dallas to the Washington Street Steak House for a Mother's Day Dinner.
45° with heavy cloud cover, weather guessers are calling for a high temp in the mid 50's.
Andy good luck dealing with the building planners.
