Good evening. Mason is having his first sleepover at our house tonight. Luckily it's just his friend from across the street, so easy to send him home if things get out of hand.
Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Just getting home. We logged a few miles today as well.
The good news is that Seabiscuit IV followed us home, finally. I don't think I should post my opinion about the repair shop here on an open net. I can only console myself with the fact that we were out of the area and the break down was a catastrophic bearing failure on the back axle of the trailer that didn't leave us with the option of getting it home. If there was a good side to the story it is that the shop did give us a military discount. It's going to be a story best told over a cold beverage at the G2G.
Going to take it to Devils Lake tomorrow and play around a bit and do some fishing. After that I'm going to have to see what it is going to take to get brakes rebuilt on the front axle and clean the copious amount of grease off of the wheel from the bearing blow out.
Evan, enjoy them while you can, before you know it they will be gone.
That being said I am kinda looking forward to having more time and money again and just the wife and I doing things.
I hope that works out for you...my son moved back in.......
Worked my 1-1/2 hp John Deere engine today.......made good headway.....first show is the first weekend in June.
We had rain, snow and hail today.....the fire in the shop felt good.
Good morning everyone. All the boys were up before 6:30am and Jackie just left for work. There are some ominous looking clouds headed this way. Yesterday was a mix of bright sun, pouring rain, wind gusts, and hail.
