Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Still 88 on the front porch. Forest Fire smoke started moving in, but a sea breeze is moving it around a bit and its not as muggy as it had been.

$39.95 Timex at Walmart displays the day of the week.......
(mine says 'MO' and I can't find that on the calendar. Guess I should have gotten the $45.00 Casio!)
Just easier to remember Saturday and since I'm not 7th day Adventist like Chris, I don't have to spend 6 days a week in church, only one.

Pat, yesterday it was 99 at the compound (I don't like anything over 75 unless I'm in the water), the smoke made visibility less than half a mile. As I could not see the hills across the road that are less than half a mile away.

Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 58.7 on its way to 88. A bit of a breeze blowing this morning making it nice to get several things done outside before the heat of the day.
Kind of hazy out, but the smoke isn't bad at the moment. Sky is weird shade of dirty gray so I have a feeling that if the breeze dies down, this 'hole in the ground' may get a little bit of smoke build up. Got a bit of smoke yesterday afternoon, but nothing near as bad as Andy.
