Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Up to 64 here.
Tearing back into the drivers door on the pickup today...put a new inside handle on it yesterday because the original plastic one broke. Now I have to go back in and see what got disconnected when I was doing that as the handle moves fine, but doesn't open the door. Still having to roll the window down and use the outside handle.
Took the truck out for a spin, this AOD trimmed off nearly 1100 rpm at 100 KPH but think I still have some adjustment to do, it feels a little hesitant at the start..
Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Got home late from a concert at the Air and Space Museum. Members got in free. Kind of a orchestra / big band type with lots of trombones, trumpets, saxophones and that sort of thing. Music from the 40's and 50's for the most part.
Not really my type of music, but I did find it interesting and somewhat historical.

Electric windows don't work so very well with vise grips, but yes I've done that my self as well as used them for a "headlight" ****.
Turned out to be a metallurgical failure on the door itself. Had to make a scab or patch and rivet it in place, drill a new hole and put everything back together. Door handle now works, actually it's better than its ever been since I've owned the pickup.
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Been down the road this morning helping a neighbor. His wife has some very serious health problems. Prognosis is not good.
Good afternoon John. Late lunch here. That seems to be a common theme these days.
Trying to get outside early and finish the "heaviest" tasks before the heat of the day. Even though I could stand to "sweat" off a few pounds.
