Thank You for covering for me.
You know we can put up a screen so you and the wife could make it
and still get some smooching time in. Just act like your back to being 18
and out on a hot date.

So, we just have us 3 out of all the members from the Washington Chapter?

Not that I am not looking forward to the meet, but man I was hoping for a bigger turn out.

I'm down to come but I REFUSE to meet up at a restaurant. Thats probably the least truck thing ever. Like we can have A BBQ but the main point of this forum is to trucks and for a meet up, the goal should be to meet everybody and talk, look, show, brag, about each individual trucks. This was the problem that this particular chapter has had in the past. For some reason people think that meeting up at a restaurant constitutes a truck meet, but the reality is that there are tons more members that would come if it was truck orientated and not meeting at some garbage restaurant. Just my .02.

Don't take this the wrong way. But so far your the only one that has
even bothered to say that. I did after all send out a mass PM to every
Washington chapter member. One of the reasons for the restaurant
is we can't get enough people to commit.

I asked for input and have not gotten much. So please have a look and
give some input. July is getting closer and this needs to be settled soon.

Here is the link to an overnight trye or day meet for the ones that can't overnight.

Will be there.
One other point I thought of today on my way back to the VET AGAIN.

Anyway. I never said Truck Meet in the Washington Chapter Meet thread.
It's the Washington State Chapter Meet.

All Fords are welcome and we even put up with non-Fords at times.

I am alive, new computer and more than 200+ thread responses to catch up on....

I will be there tomorrow night.

I hosted a truck meet at my house/shop for actually working on trucks and don't mind doing it again after I get a bunch of crap cleaned out of the way.

Wow. I'll chime in here simply because I think this is a flat-out rude response. First, full props to Yahiko for picking up the WA forum recently and making a huge effort to get a group meeting going. This is a quiet forum and I'm sure it's not easy to try and get folks motivated. Unlike some parts of the country, WA is not exactly a "truck town".

Truck show, dinner or even coffee doesn't matter...just helping folks meet is a great effort. Anyone hating on a meet idea of any kind can either step forward to plan it themselves or STFU...

Just got off the phone with a member Ken's 39 and he will be coming over to my place and truckpooling with me to the meet.

You're welcome to stop by on your way through town, I will only be moderately embarrassed as to the current disaster state of my garage. haha
