Pre Collision Avoidance Not Working

Not sure if I am doing something wrong but my Pre Collision does not seem to be working. I have it turned on and sensitivity set to high on dash settings but the dash light never lights up nor do I get the audio beep no matter how close I get to a vehicle. My adaptive cruise is working properly. Is there something I might be missing?

it only comes on if your not paying attention and your about to hit someone, i beleave you have to be approaching a car fast withing having your foot on the brake before it activates, it will warn you with just enough time to stop, it will also scare the crap out of you!

i have set it off a few times, all at intersections where there stopping for a red light or stop sign and im not paying attention, i love it cas it give you enough time to stop with out slamming on the brakes to hard and looking like a moron lol that said i do NOT recommend testing it! it will tell you if its not working so your good to go if you have no messages on the cluster

edit:
if it go's off it will beep like crazy and a red light bar will flash from the upper dash and reflect off the window, you will also almost **** your pants but your will react lol

Oh so it isn't like the fiancé Terrain! I tried rolling up on some vehicles today fairly quick and close enough I would not think I would have time to stop and didn't do anything. But guess Truck knows something I don't, maybe with updates they might adjust to give a person more warning.

I seem to set if off every time a car in front of me is turning off the road. Haven't heard it any other time, yet.

I have had mine go off a few times its seems to occur most often on the street when someone is turning right into a drive way off the main street while im chugging along a decent way back. I can see that the car will be in the drive way before i get there but the truck sees me driving at 40 foot on gas and a basically parked car in road before they get thier butt out of the road so it goes off. Its an awesome feature and I like it even if its a little premature sometimes.
